Cody Harris,
Owner

Cody is a West Gippsland local, he grew up in Langwarrin and moved to Warragul in the early 2010s. Cody and his wife are raising their two kids, 2 and 6, in Drouin and love regional living.

Cody has tried a few careers over his 30+ years, always trying to encapsulate his interests in technology, electronics and his desire to help people. In school, Cody was great at maths and art. His creative flair and desire to help people has seen him oscillate between these skills, as they are rarely complimentary.

Cody has worked in finance and banking, interior design and tiling. While working in the banking sector in 2013 he had a horrific car accident that changed his career trajectory and his mindset. Following his recovery, Cody worked for home decorating and tiling businesses.

Unhappy with the confines of working in a franchise environment, he formulated his idea to start a tiling business that offered a wider, more artisan, range of tiles and that allowed him the freedom to offer a more personalised customer service model outside the confines of franchise. Famous Flooring was born.
